Let's keep it short and simple, after 2 years and 2 months of dreaming that Laos would reopen its doors... well, we're delighted to announce that as of May 9, 2022, Laos is once again open to travelers, with no restrictions whatsoever.

Land, air and river borders are all open again. So-called "on arrival" visas are once again issued on arrival in Laos, as well as E-visa via the Internet.

No more quarantine, no more Covid-19 insurance required, no more tests before your departure, no more tests on arrival, just the pleasure of traveling!

Travelers with a complete vaccination schedule must present their vaccination record. Travelers who have not been vaccinated must present an ATK test carried out within 48 hours of departure. This does not apply to children under 12.

We'd like to thank you for your trust and support over what seemed like an interminable 2 years. We've stuck it out, and look forward to seeing you soon.
